Crafting Away....

Hello Fellow Crafters,

I am still working on the shawl.  But I did get a quilt and mittens completed and given to the happy recipients. I am currently working on a pair of socks with the left over yarn from the mittens.  We will see if I have enough for two socks.  I might only get one. In that case I might use them as a decoration in the house. LOL.

Recipe time: I like to make fudge, so I tried making Peanut Butter Fudge. Here is the recipe...

It was really good.  I think next time I will add chocolate chips to it, since I like chocolate :-)  I was also thinking about substituting powdered sugar for the granulated sugar.  We will see how that goes.

Knitting a Shawl

Hello Crafters,

I have been working on the Coffee Shop Wrap.  I am using the Lion Brand Mandala yarn called Chimere.  It is beautiful.  I will post a picture once I'm done.  Until then here is the photo and location for the directions.

Lighthouses

Here are just two Lighthouses in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.  I keep coming back to these pictures and think I could make a really awesome quilt using these photos.  What do you think?
